CMAS P2

CMAS P2 Diver is able to dive accompanied by CMAS P1 divers in protected waters and the same level in the evolution space of medium depth (20m) being able to plan his dives.When accompanied by upper level monitors he can evolve into big depth (up to 40m). CMAS P2 diver shoul avoiud to make dives that requires compression stops.

Emitted Certificate:

CMAS P2 International Card and Certificate.

Requirements:

• Must belong to FPAS
• Not to have less than 17 years of age (Dec. n.º 48.365, May of 1968).
• Parents authorization, in minority age cases.
• Have a medical certificate of at least less than a year.
• Have CMAS P1 diver qualification.
• Have at east 10 dives registered at Diving Notebook, After getting CMAS P1 qualification, 5 of those between 10m and 20 m, confirmed by a CMAS P3 monitor or equivalent.
• Have Rescue Diver course for at least 2 years.
  

Note: CMAS P2 certification will only be attributed after the student has 25 dives registered at his Immersion Book, ten of those between 10m and 20m, which is where it's included the dives of CMAS P1 and P2 courses. All these dives must be confirmed by a diver with at least CMAS P3 qualification or a monitor or by a diving School/Center.
