| PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
The PADI Adventures in Diving program provides divers with a structured means to
explore special diving interests and gain dive experience. The program allows student divers to customize their training path and learn
various underwater tasks that broaden their awareness of the environment and their
capabilities as divers. The program’s design
allows divers to choose the dives that
interest them and to sample activities
under the guidance of a PADI Instructor.
A diver who completes the Deep
Dive, the Underwater Navigation Dive and three
additional Adventure Dives (five total) earns the
Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
Adventure dives to choose among:
- Boat Dive
- Drift Dive
- Dry Suit Dive
- Multilevel and Computer Dive
- Night Dive
- Peak Performance Buoyancy Dive
- Search and Recovery Dive
- Underwater Naturalist Dive
- Wreck Dive
Emitted Certificate:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
Requirements:
- Not to have less than 17 years of age (Dec. n.º 48.365, May of 1968).
- Parents authorization, in minority age cases.
- Have a medical certificate of at least less than a year.
- Have PADI Open Water Diver or qualifying certification
