For the lovers of the underwater world who have a scuba diving certificate, we offer a different and unique experience where the volcanic reefs, arches, underwater caves and wrecks are predominant.

For all of those that want to try a new and exciting experience, we offer the try dive experiences, that we are sure you will never forget!

We go out for diving at least twice a day (meeting hours at 9.00 and 14.00), everyday, all year round.

The wealth of the marine life attracts groupers, parrot fishes, stingrays, morenas, congers, mackerel, barracudas, manta rays, octopuses, tunas, black jacks and lots of other atlantic species.

The surface water temperature varies from 16ºC to 24ºC, with visibility of up to 40 meters.

• 1 BWA Super Diving 7,50 Meters RIB, with Honda 200 HP, 4 Stroke.
• 1 Cabin Boat, with Honda 200 HP, 4 Stroke, Honda 20 HP auxiliary and toillet.
• Nitrox fillings.
• Oxigen Kits.
• 15 complete diving equipments for rent.
• 3,7,10, 12 and 15 liters tanks (DIN and INT), with 1 and 2 outlets.
• Support center with rinsing and storage area, toilets and hot water shower.
• Free Pick-ups from our meeting point at the Ponta Delgada Marina, if booked at least 24 hours in advance.
• NITROX FOR FREE - For all the students that attend the Nitrox course with us!!

All dives includes :

• Skipper and underwater guide. Both trained in Medical first aid and Oxigen supply.
• Boat and fuel (up to 6 miles from base).
• Activity Insurance from DAN.

How to get to the Center

For the lovers of the sea, who can swim and have some adventure spirit, we can offer a snorkeling experience, where they can enjoy all the exhuberance of the underwater landscape, as well as the diversity of marine fauna and flora.

Surface water temperature ranges between 16ºC to 24ºC, with visibility up to 40 meters.

Equipment:

• Mask
• Snorkel tube
• Fins and boots
• Wetsuit, whenever necessary
• Weight belt

General Conditions:

• All trips begin and end at the Vila Franca harbour
• Semi-rigid boat, with 1 skipper and 1 support diver in the water
• Duration: 1H30 to 2H00
• Maximum 6 pax per trip
• The final decision to allow swimming is the Dive Center´s staff responsability.
